Eligibility Conditions And Rule
A) Eligibility conditions and rules regarding the admission to the first year Of three year B.Sc. Computer Science :
Admission: Admission to the all-first year courses will be done as per merit at H.S.C examination, Norms , and rules of Pune University and Govt, of Maharashtra.

  1. The student must have passed H.S.C Science with Maths Examination or any equivalent examination of authentic and Govt, recognized body.

  2. Student should apply in the prescribe form and for the certificate of eligibility with necessaries fees.

  3. Students from other colleges affiliated to the University of Pune will seek admission directly, however they will have to obtain 'Transfer Certificate/from the previous attended college.

  4. Student migrating from other University of Maharashtra and out of Maharashtra should apply in the prescribed form for the 'Eligibility Certificate' with necessary fees.

  5. All the fresh admissions shall be provisional and will be confirmed after the receipt of Eligibility Certificate from the University of Pune.

  6. First year student will have to undergo for compulsory medical examination.
B) Documents required :

  1. Statement of marks and passing certificate.

  2. Leaving/ Transference Certificate.

  3. Migration Certificate. (In case of student from other Universities)

  4. Caste Certificate.

  5. Character Certificate.

  6. Affidavit regarding gap in education and / or change of name in original on 100/- rupees stamp paper.

  7. Latest three passport size photographs.
C) Important Instructions :

  1. Students seeking admission in this college is liable to pay fees for the whole term.

  2. At the time of seeking admission at S.Y level, the student should have passed F.Y. examination or A.T.K.T at F.Y. level.

  3. To get admission in T.Y classes the student must have passed in all subjects of F.Y. level.
Management Course
B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application) :-
Course is starting from academic year 2007-2008. This is a degree course, which shall be of three divided into 6 semisters.
 
Sanctioned Student Strength : -
  1. Eligibility for Admission : order to eligible for admission to Bechelor of Computer Applications a Candidate must have passed (a) H.S.C. (10 + 2) From any stream with English as passing subject with English as passing subject with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.

  2. Duration:- The duration of the B.C.A. Degree program shall be three years divided in to six semesters.

  3. Objectives:- The objectives of the program shall be to provide sound academic base from which an advance career in Computer Application can be developed. Conceptual grounding in Computer usage as well as its practical business application will be provided.

  4. The scheme of Examination :- The B.C.A. Examination will be 3600 marks divided into three parts as per details given below :-
    1) B.C.A. Part-1 (Sem. 1,11) Aggregate Marks 1200.
    2) B.C.A. Part- II (Sem. II, IV)Aggregate Marks 1200
    3) B.C.A. Part- III (Sem. V, VI) Aggregate Marks 1200
    For courses in practical (Semi. I, II, III, IV, V, VI) there will be practical examination of 80 marks and viva/ voce examination of 20 marks. For course on project work there will be oral presentation test consisting of 20 marks and Written Report of 80 marks course no. (635636)

  5. The candidate will be allowed to carry any number to backlog of courses prescribes for B.C.A. part-1, II.

    However a candidate should not be admitted to B.C.A. part- III Exam. (Semi. V) unless he has passed in all courses at the B.C.A. Part-1

  6. Standard of passing and award of class : In order to pass in the examination a candidate has to obtain 40 marks out of 100

    (semend exam. 80 + class work marks 20 taken together. The class will be awarded to the basis aggregate marks obtain by him forall three years (Pt. I, II, III) examination taken together. The award of class be as follows:

    Aggregate percentage of marks Class
    40 and above

    Pass

    50 and above- less than 60 Pass with 11 class
    60 and above - less than 70 pass with I class
    70 and above

    pass with I class with Distinction


  7. The medium of instruction & examination (written & viva) shall be in English
