Achievements of the Staff Members of the College (2008-2009)
- Dr. Amit Agarwal of the department of Periodontology, bagged first prize for a scientific paper presentation at the Indian Society of Periodontology, Maharashtra Study Group, Mumbai.
- Dr. Prashant Jaju of the department of Oral Medicine & Radiology was a gold medalist in the MDS exam of the year 2008 at D. Y. Patil College.

- Dr. Pranav Chandarana, PG Student – Department of Orthodontics, bagged first prize at Avishkar – 2008 at he University level research project competition.
- Dr. Nitin Kudyar, PG Student- Department of Periodontics, got the first prize for essay competition at the 33rd ISP conference at Chandigarh.
- Dr. Shumaila Ansari, PG Student – Department of Periodontics, secured the first prize for scientific paper presentation at the ISP-MSG Postgraduate Convention, Mumbai.
- Dr. Rakesh Mutha, PG student – Department of Periodontics, secured second prize for scientific presentation at the ISP-MSG Postgraduate Convention, Mumbai.
- Dr. Alok Lathi, PG student – Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, bagged second place in scientific paper presentation competition at IAOMR, Vellore.
- Dr. Mahesh Ahire and Dr. Rakesh Mutha bagged third prize in the poster presentation competition at the ISP-MSG Postgraduate Convention, Mumbai.
- Dr. Mehrunisha Khan and Dr. Shriram Bansode for the first prize at quiz competition on Muco-cutaneous Lesion Diagnostics Insight Symposium at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Thane.
- Mr. Ajay Vishwakarma, Final year BDS student bagged the second prize at Avishkar- 2008 at the University level research project competition.
- Mr. Aditya Bhawsar Final year BDS student bagged a prize for Maharashtra University of Health Sciences short term student internship research programme on ‘Co-relation between forward head posture and occlusion, freeway space and swallowing pattern”.
