Infrastructure

Library : - Our college has a well-maintained library, having around 65,000 books with latest magazines and journals. Reading room facility is also available with individual study zones for the staff members and for the students as well. The library is well equipped with Audio-visual aids and computerized . It has a special scheme for poor students i.e. poor boys book bank facility(P.B.F)consisting of 3000 books, which are given to the students for the whole year. The library timings are from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Gymkhana : - Our college is having well-equipped multi Gym for students and members of the staff. We have organised various intercollegiate and state level sports events. The college teams have successfully represented at a national level events in Cricket, Kabaddi, Handball and other games. The college is planning to have a Sports Academy for students. N.S.S : -The college has an active N.S.S department, which is engaged in organizing various activities such as camps, workshops and extension programmes. N.C.C : -The seventh Maharashtra Battalion of N.C.C is under the command of Major Prof. Shinde D.S . Every year at least, one of our cadet is selected for the R.D. Parade for participation and representing our colleges at New Delhi. Special Note for Sr. College Students : - Students offering N.C.C and N.S.S area liable to claim 5 marks at the end of their final year under 163 ordinance of the University of Pune. It is applicable to all faculities.

Other Special Features

Student's Grievance Committee : -This looks after the problems of the students. The student can approch the committee for their academic, administrative and personal problems at college.

Students council : -Under the University act, class representatives are nominated on merit basis to from student's council. This plays an active role in various curricular and extra curricular activities held throughout the year.

Earn and Learn scheme : -The schemes has been actively implemented for the poor and needy students , who would like to work for few hours in the college campus to get some financial help.

Hostel : -This facility is available in the college campus for girls and boys.

Alumini Association : -For past students of the college this association offers a unique platform to interact with the current students from all the faculties. The alumini contribute to the development of the students at large by sharing their academic and professional experiences.

Annual Social Gathering : -Ours is the only college that arranges Annual Social Gathering of the students giving a platform to the students to perform and to show their cultural qualities.

Placement Cell : - There is a placement cell for third year(Final year) students, which arranges campus interviews for reputed industries. The cell plays a key roll in facilating students to tap job opportunities. Last year 11 students of our college selected in the campus interview

Magazine : -The college has its in house magazine named "Parijat" which provides a medium for the students to express their free and unbounded creativity.

Competitive Exam Cell: -This cell helps in preparing a student to appear for competitive exams such as UPSC, MPSC by arranging lectures of the experts in various fields and providing guidance and training.

Ladies Forum : -This is specially established for the female college students. Activities such as personal guidance and counseling, lectures of the experts with respect to social and women related issues, physical and mental health problems area arranged by the forum.

Tours ans Excursions : -All the departments of the colllege arrange tours and excursions for the students for the enrichment of their knowledge and skills.

Cultural Programs : -The college organizes various cultural programs and competitions and encourages students to partcipate. Our students have been participating in various youth/intercollegiate competitions and festivals and even winning some of them.

Remedial Coaching Classes : -These are specially conducted for the students who are weak in studies.

YCMOU Study Centre : -The College has YCMOU study centre for B.A./B.Com. And M.B.A
