Smt. Pushpatai Hiray
Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Mrs. Pushpatai Hiray
is also the founder of Nashik District Mahila Co-opertive Bank Ltd.
She is well known figure in whole of Maharashtra, as she was Minister
in Maharashtra State Government holding important portfolios like
Health and Family Welfare, Technical and Medical Education, Cultural
affairs etc.

Mrs. Pushpatai Hiray was more concerned about the upliftment of
poor and needy people and therefore, took active interest in various
projects for small villages. Some of the projects need mentioning
includes 250 KVA Electricity Generation in Dabhadi, water projects
for villages like Nandgaon, Neemgaon, Garegaon, Dabhadi, various
bridges including bridge on Girna river etc.
In educational field she actively participated in Mahatma Gandhi
Vidyamandir and her rich advice is the main source of development
of the organization.

Mr. Shivajirao Deore (B.A.(Pune))
Vice-Chairman of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir Mr. Shivajirao Deore,
has constantly worked for the poor and needy. Education to all and
specifically to tribal and socially backward people was his Mantra.
He was ardent supporter of Co-operative movement and through various
social and cultural institutions constantly tried to help people.
Reading is his hobby and keeps up-dated information on various subjects
through his hobby.

Mr. Prashant Hiray (B.A., L.L.B.)
General Secretary of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Malegaon and Secretary
of Adivasi Seva Samiti, Nashik, Mr. Prashant Hiray, popularly known
as 'Dada' is a versatile personality. Grandson of Late Karmaveer
Bhausaheb Hiray and son of Late Loknete Vyanketrao Hiray and Smt.
Pushpatai Hiray, inherited political, social and educational background
from them.

Professional Colleges in the fields like Dental, Management, Pharmacy, Catering, Law, Education are run under the banner of MGV, which also includes Primary, Secondary and Junior / Senior colleges in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce etc. Post Graduate facilities are available in Dental, Pharmacy and Management. Dental College and Hospital has ultra-modern, well-equipped facilities, which was established by him. All these institutes have made dynamic progress under his guidance and active participation.
An Ex-Minister (Transport & Protocol), Government of Maharashtra, Mr. Prashant Hiray also worked as a Member of Senate, University of Pune. He was the founder of Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray Urban Co-op Bank and Shree Vyankatesh Co-op Bank Ltd., Malegaon. Also he was the Chairman of N.D.C.C. Bank, the apex bank of Nashik district. At present he is the Director of the said bank.
Mr. Prashant Hiray's book Jalasampada shows how deep knowledge he has about water management resources and specifically the rivers flowing westwards.
Mr. Prashant Hiray's work in the fields like education, politics, socio-cultural is tremendous with ultimate aim to make available cheap and quality education to the poor and needy. He is religious minded and has written / translated several books on religion. He was the Trustee of Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi. He has toured many parts of the world and has been trying to bring western knowledge to India, particularly the regions of Maharashtra. He has been felicitated with various Awards, honors and titles, like Samajshree etc. The amount collected for Charitable work like earthquake relief fund, Kargil relief fund, Orissa relief fund is substantial and deserves special mention here.
His hobbies include reading and writing.

Mr. P.S. Shewale (M.A.(Pune))
Joint General Secretary of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Mr. Pandit
Shivram Shewale is renowned scholar, Academician by profession.
For 23 years he was a Professor with Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad
College, Malegaon and Principal for 5 years. He was also member
of Academic Council and Senate in Pune University.

Mr. Pandit Shewale was actively involved in social fields and arranged
seminars on various subjects connected with people from small villages.
Subjects included Health, Roads, water, plantation of trees etc.
He was instrumental in distribution of note-books, clothes to orphan
students. In the field of education, he was instrumental in adult
education as well.
His hobbies includes reading and getting involved in Social activities..

Mrs. Smita Prashant Hiray (B.A.)
Treasurer, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Malegaon and Adivasi Seva
Samiti, Nashik, General Secretary of Renukadevi Mahila Seva Samiti,
Mrs. Smita Prashant Hiray is well known in Cultural and Co-operative
fields as well.

In Co-operative field, she is President of Shree Vyankatesh Co-operative
Bank Ltd. Malegaon, President of Karmaveer Bhausaheb Nagri Sahakari
Patpedhi, Malegaon, President of Smt. Renukadevi Mahila Co-operative
spinning mills Ltd., Malegaon and proprietor of M/s. Mahalaxmi Automobiles.

Mr. Apoorva Hiray (M.Sc., M.B.A.)
Young and most dynamic personality, Mr. Apoorva Prashant Hiray,
is the Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir. He excelled in
education with distinction in M.Sc. and First Class in Business
Administration. In fact he bagged Best Student’s President Dr. Shankar
Dayal Sharma Gold Medal. He has twelve Research Papers at his credit
which is a distinctive work at his young age.

Mr. Apoorva Prashant Hiray is Ex-officio Senate member of the Pune
University and he was the Secretary as well as Chairman for one
year each of the Pune University Students Council. He founded
Pharmacy College at Malegaon. For Youths and students
Social, Cultural and Sports activities, he established a Social
Organisation known as Shrishakti Sanghatana. He was actively involved
in fund raising for Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik and Smt.
Pushpatai Hiray Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Malegaon. He raised funds
for charitable causes like people affected by various calamities.
Mr. Apoorva Hiray is more interested in Sports and Music, Playing
Cricket, Table-Tennis, Soft ball, Volley ball are his hobbies and
he was selected for national teams on several occasions.
To study the educational systems in Canada, he visited various
Universities in Canada. The visit was very useful, as Mahatma Gandhi
Vidyamandir is implementing some of the schemes studied and recommended
by him.
